Die-cutting tools

We produce die-cutting tools for cutting:
corrugated and solid cardboard, foil, PVC, blisters, PET, formir, sponges, rubber, wood, bovine leather, mineral wool with aluminum foil, paper (also abrasive), fabrics, knits...

They can be used to cut out:
boxes, boxes and crates, pots, blisters, euro hangers, wrappers, bands, containers, cardboard structures, tailoring cuts, trays, bowls, plates, car mats... almost everything!

How to order (estimate) a die cutter?
Just call and give the Fefco catalog number and dimensions, send a pattern by regular mail or (preferably) a drawing by electronic mail (pdf, dwg, cdr). Once upon a time you could send a fax with a dimensioned sketch. Our customers most often give the unique number of their die cutter.

A handful of additional information:

• Knives, bends (so-called creasers or biggies), perforations and other elements forming the raw material are embedded in plywood made of deciduous wood with thicknesses of 18, 15, 12 or 10mm. During the production of die cutters materials from Sandvik, Armor, Schneid and others are used. The number of types of knives, biggies, knife-biggies and perforations is staggering; we ourselves sometimes have problems finding the right variety. From time to time we use American technology - knives from Saxon.
• Available knife heights: 23.8, 30, 40, 50, 60 and 80 mm. This allows for cutting blisters up to 60 mm high with a light die cutter (1 plywood).
• Die cutters are usually lined with ejector rubbers in a way that is the result of our many years of experience. At the customer's request we make ejectors from polyacetal mounted on springs.
• At the customer's request die cutters are shod with #2 steel sheet
• Naturally we produce die cutters not only for cutting cardboard; we are not unfamiliar with blisters made of any foils, skin-packs, wood, leather, sponges with self-adhesive paper, sandpaper, axpet, rubber, tekpol as well as materials that we only know by touch.
• Attention! At the special request of the Customer we ARE ABLE to cut plywood for knife placement manually without using a laser beam!

We also supply rotary die cutters:

• Such die cutters fit best with rotary cutters with a main shaft diameter equal to 350mm.
• The knives used for them are 1 inch high and toothed and are called eurocut. Rotary die cutters are standardly equipped with waste cutting knives and of course each die cutter is lined with a set of ejector sponges.
